It’s the green ( sometimes pink) paper part of the licence, most people refer to it as the old type

Counter part in order to see what kind of endorsement, you are entitled to hire with clean one, ask for more if you have any minor endorsement, some might disqualify you from hiring, if you don’t provide us your counter part then there will be an extra £5 charge for a DVLA Check.

Yes, but we still have to do a DVLA check and you must provide us with a proof of ID

There is no special licence to drive any vehicle from us, however you need to be over 21 and hold your licence for at least 2 years. Exception for the minibus you must be 25 and over.

No, we find that many people do not update their address with DVLA and we cannot accept it as such.
Is there any hire deposit? back to top
Yes, like all hire company but we do not debit it from your account, it’s just an authorisation that we take, the money stays in your account but frozen for one week at most.
Do I need insurance? back to top
No, you are insured whist you’re driving any vehicle with a collision excess of £500,which means that the most you are liable for is £500 even if the cost is greater, obviously if less then you are expected to pay less. You can arrange for your own full comprehensive insurance with a different company but bear in mind the extra cost you will be paying them.
What happened if I break down? back to top
We are registered with RAC and you can expect to be assisted anywhere in the UK. Please give us a call on our emergency Number first before calling the RAC, as we’re not responsible for any cost resulting from your own negligence.
